Royal Oak is a small, deliberate place. One cabin, two bedrooms, one bath, just over a thousand square feet. The walls are cedar. The water is hot when you want it and very cold when you don't.
The space was built without plastics or chemicals, and you can feel it. Step outside to a contrast-therapy island. Step further and the trees take over. Look up and the stars do.
Front Royal sits at the northern end of the Shenandoah Valley. You are an hour and a half from D.C. and a world away from it.
